Thursday, November 29, 2007 randy's angels here's clancy, me and ann at last night's signing. i had an awesome time. michael opened the store an hour earlier this morning just so i could come in and shop before my flight back to L.A. the photo was taken by bill wilson. | Permalink #1 on Ru Radio_2.jpg) the first song i play on my ipod is always the song that's playing in my head when i wake up. this morning it's a Whitney b-side called "Moment Of Truth". it appears on the cd single of "Exhale (Shoop Shoop)". listen closely and you'll hear it as a reworking of Nippy's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody". | Permalink in full bloom buying furniture for my new El Lay digs, met the legendary Angelyne for the first time. she gave me her number to go out sometime and i'm gonna friggin' do it. oh, and i won't live here full-time, just sometime.  Tom and i went country line dancing tuesday night. we met this guy named David there and took him to see A-M at Jumbo's Clown Room. THAT'S HAWT! | Permalink Saturday, November 24, 2007 warren malone RuPaul has been one of my biggest influences since I was 7 years old, after my poor father disconnected the television after realizing that Ru was a man during his spot on the MTV Awards in '93. That surely didn't stop me. I just plugged it right back in and told him to go have another beer. RuPaul is a perfect example of someone that broke all the rules and made an international movement that will never be forgotten. I am next. RuPaul went on to come across my music and wrote me an e-mail about how amazed he was by my voice and music. This was the first time I met one of childhood heros. We did "Showgirls" & "Victoria Beckham" poses. I'll never forget this. Cindy Adams interviewed me yesterday and i told her how jealous i was that she is best friends with the one living person i admire the most... Judith Sheindlin. she said "i'm spending thanksgiving at her house". fast forward to this afternoon, i answer my phone and Her Honor is telling me how much she loves me. being with my family here in San Diego, AND a call from my idol... life is good and i am grateful. | Permalink promoting starrbooty i got up at 6am thursday morning to do the Latino 96.3 morning show. Jorge, the producer, is on my left and Nico Jones, the host, is on my right.  Nico totally threw me for a loop because he looks so much like my dear friend David Dalrymple. | Permalink Tuesday, November 20, 2007 my favorite cd's of 2007 Tom picked me up from LAX at 11am monday morning and drove me directly to the DMV to get my driver's license renewed (it expired on my birthday). we grooved through the streets L.A. listening to my other favorite cd of the year "Boogie2Nite" by the duo Booty Luv. this album is friggin' awesome! i can't get enough.  my number one favorite album of the year is the self titled "Katharine McPhee". it's the perfect pop album. the A&R person on it did an excellent job. great songs, terrific production and a fantastic voice. i listened to it more than any other joint this year. | Permalink Sunday, November 18, 2007 rippin' & runnin'i did a dvd signing at Circuit in Chicago thursday night. i got back to the hotel at midnight, took off my makeup, sort of slept for 4 hours, and then put my makeup back on for Good Day Chicago on Fox friday morning. we got back to New York friday night. i got up a 4am saturday morning to get into drags for NBC's Today in New York. | Permalink Saturday, November 17, 2007 my birthday! i've had a fantastic day! made even greater by having you in my life. thank you for all the birthday good wishes. love always, your ru. | Permalink Thursday, November 15, 2007 NYC - Chicago the boys and me before we headed over to Cielo in NYC to perform last night. i had just come from the fox news tv show "Red Eye", where i wore a white blouse and no body makeup. i figured i could get away with not applying body makeup for the club performance... i was wrong.  mike and me after the screening of "Starrbooty" in Chicago tonight. my pal joe white from the Atlanta days showed up. an excellent surprise. | Permalink Tuesday, November 13, 2007 don't mess with texaswe did Corpus friday night, Houston saturday night and San Antonio sunday night. just got back to NYC this evening. i had every intention of going directly to the gym, but i'm effin beat.full day today. judith regan at sirius radio and a fox tv show in drag, plus a gig at cielo to benefit the henrick-martin institute. order your Starrbooty dvd through amazon until my store goes back online.  i've chosen this picture of brett and me as the first photo posted on my blog. it was taken 2 weeks ago when i performed in McAllen, Texas. brett and i have traded music files via the internet for about 2 years now, but this was our first meeting in person. he took me to some awesome used cd stores where i ended up buying maybe 25 cd's total.  my favorite find on this trip being "Trickin' (I Seen Your Boyfriend)" by The Get Fresh Girls the most rare find on this trip was a german import of "How Old Are You?" Robin Gibb | Permalink Friday, November 09, 2007 body of christfuck! and so it begins. i'm blogging again.i'm in corpus christi, texas. the birthplace of farrah fawcett. i can't stop thinking about her. i saw her in "the apostle" the other night. that movie disturbed the shit out of me. i had a friggin blast on howard stern yesterday morning. he couldn't have been more kind. i dig him. the real kicker is that i met TRINA after my appearance on stern! yes, "the queen of miami"...
