Monday, November 10, 2008 album of the year everytime i visit the The Virgin Megastore at Hollywood & Highland i think it'll be my last time. for one, the parking garage is located deep down near the earth's core, so you have to take several escalators to resurface. on top of that, the store feels crammed, totally un-feng shui. it makes me want to flee as soon as i walk through the doors. add to that, the music they blast is too friggin' loud. a reliable source told me the chain will no longer be with us after February, which is effed up because i love record stores... just not that particular one. i went there to buy the LaBelle reunion cd and Jennifer Hudson, but also picked up the new Michelle Williams, Lady Gaga, Evelyn "Champagne" King, and yet another Tina Turner Greatest Hits cd that had 2 new songs on it. here are the albums i rocked the most in 2008: 1.
