Friday, May 02, 2008 jeffrey Jeff Key was in town this week and we went to see the new Paul Rudnick play "the new century" at Lincoln Center. the play is fantastic. i've always been a big fan of Rudnick's work (In & Out, Jeffrey, The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told). this show has a very poignant character called "Mr. Charles" that spoke especially to me, and based on the faces of the gentleman sitting in the audience stage left, the character spoke to them too. clever, funny, witty and Linda Lavin ta-boot!
