Thursday, April 03, 2008 S.B.U.K. last night's screening of Starrbooty went perfectly splendid. the sold out audience loved the movie, and the Q & A that followed was one of the most enthusiastic i've ever done. in the film, during Starrbooty's transformation into 'Cupcake', there are captions that flash the name of the "designer" she's wearing during the modeling montage. some of the retailers spoofed in the sequence don't exist in the U.K. (Forever 21, Jaclyn Smith, Carrot Top) so the jokes were lost here, but everything else they got. i mean, c'mon... fart jokes are universal. | Permalink 2009 RuCo, Inc.—All Rights Reserved |
