Saturday, March 08, 2008 name game Micaya changed her name over 20 years ago, but in my mind i still call her by the birth-name she had when i met her back in high school. over the years, i've known many people who've changed their names, and i've had no problem adjusting to their new moniker, but for some reason, my mind won't let go of Micaya's old name. it's probably because 1976 was such a pivotal benchmark in my life that i canonized everyone i met that first year in Atlanta. she's coming to visit for a few days and i pray i don't slip up and call her Tyrone. | Permalink 2009 RuCo, Inc.—All Rights Reserved |
