Sunday, March 09, 2008 let them eat cake...or not Bruce McCoy's b'day party was in full swing by the time Micaya and i had arrived. as Jon, Bruce's partner, lit the candles on the cake he warned he may be "too lifted to be doing this"... the perfect comic set-up. we dimmed the lights, summoned Bruce and sang "happy birthday". as Jon held the cake up for Bruce to blow out the candles, it slipped off the tray and fell on Bruce's foot. we all howled for a good 5 minutes solid. it was the best birthday cake ceremony i have EVER witnessed. ps- i hope Jon doesn't beat himself up over this. it was really funny. | Permalink 2009 RuCo, Inc.—All Rights Reserved |
