Tuesday, February 05, 2008 beach@deiait's hard to be in Spain and not think of Pedro Almodovar. he defined post-Franco Spain so brilliantly that his presence is felt throughout the country.  yesterday, we visited the beach at Deia, here on the isle of Mallorca. it was so poetic and beautiful that photographs couldn't possibly do it justice.
