Tuesday, December 26, 2006 soul brother number onethe first live concert i ever saw was James Brown at the San Diego Sports Arena. he blew my 9 year old mind and ruined me by setting such a high standard. six years later, he invited me and my car broker brother in-law out to his house on the Georgia/South Carolina border. he wanted my brother in-law to help liquidate his stable of 36 automobiles.i remember asking him why he put the song "Public Enemy #1" as the b-side of two different singles. he said because he really loved the song and wanted more people to hear it. he was very impressed that i knew so many intricate details of his career. i was very impressed that he was so kind. | Permalink 2009 RuCo, Inc.—All Rights Reserved |
