Monday, September 18, 2006 i've been struck... it finally hit me!i'll never forget the night Cher won best actress for Moonstruck. everyone in our house was jumping up and down and screaming with pride and joy. our girl, who had been written off as "washed up" just 7 years prior, had really shown them all. i literally had tears streaming down my face.the secret i never told anybody was that i hated the movie. i just didn't get it... that is until i watched it tonight for the first time in almost 19 years. now, i friggin' LOVE this movie. it's absolutely brilliant! what was i thinking back then? i must have been emotionally shut down and in a walking coma, because i now see that this movie is exquisite and every performance is perfect. | Permalink 2009 RuCo, Inc.—All Rights Reserved |
