I LIKE TO DRESS UP

tuesday night, i met up with VOLTAGE at the JAZZ STANDARD to hear her brother in-law, JOHN O'GALLAGHER perform with his group. it was great being there and it made want to devote my life to jazz clubs, the only problem was that it also made me want to have several martinis and smoke a big fatty. the only time i really miss getting high is when i listen to jazz. i wore a shiny black PAUL SMITH suit, a black button down shirt with no tie, PRADA shoes and a DOLCE & GABBANA hat.

later, i met up with WITHERSPOON & ROURKE to see ARI GOLD perform at JOE'S PUB. ARI was amazing, a true showman. i've known of ARI'S outstanding talent for years, but my friends had no idea that they'd be so blown away. ARI asked me to introduce the show, which consisted of a full band and a plethora of special guests including the awesome ADAM JOSEPH and the great BILLY PORTER.

wednesday at 2 in the afternoon, i saw a preview of STEEL MAGNOLIAS on B'WAY. i was wearing a brown tweed MATTHEW BATANIAN suit and tie with a yellow ETRO shirt. then later that night, i finally got to meet TIM'S buddy from college, JAMES. we bonded while watching MOMMY DEAREST and even more so while dissecting the career of MARIAH CAREY.

TIM is coming to D.C. with us for my show at LULU'S this weekend. he went to college there, so he knows his way around.

MATHU ANDERSEN is confirmed for hair and make-up on the video for my new single WORKOUT... the truth is, i couldn't do it without him.

i just found out that WORKOUT is this week's number one breakout on the BILLBOARD DANCE CHART!!!
