Tuesday, March 08, 2005 HMMM...our culture hates effeminate men. from day one, we're all taught to distrust and put down boys who play with girls toys. just look at all the effeminate male villains in DISNEY animated films, our opinions are formed for us before we even have opinions. i've been doing drag professionally for 23 years, and there have been times when even i've had to question my thinking when it came to accepting effeminate men. understandably then, that alot of the prejudice i've experienced as a queen has come from other gay people. . | Permalink 2009 RuCo, Inc.—All Rights Reserved |
