I guess my expectations were too high. I had fantasied eight cuts produced by Robert "Mutt" Lange and two Diane Warren cuts produced by David Foster. Well, I didn't get that, but I stuck with his album anyway and I'm glad I did. Today, I can't get enough of this kid. I've been playing this album morning, noon and night. I can't wait for you to see it! | Permalink Saturday, January 16, 2010 The Allergist's Life In the past year, I've become allergic to peanuts, soybeans, dust, mold and God knows what else. The Claritin-D is working, but it dries out my skin, kills my appetite and keeps me up at night. Living in this human body is such a trip. I guess I should consider myself lucky that I didn't have allergies until now. When it came out, I was initially turned off by the way it was marketed as an ode to the 30-something stroller pushers and their precious cargo, but it turned out that the film is much more than that. Maya Rudolph gives a textured performance that lingers in my heart.
