Happy B'day Adam Lambert
Upon first listen, I was a little disappointed with Adam Lambert's debut album. I guess my expectations were too high. I had fantasied eight cuts produced by Robert "Mutt" Lange and two Diane Warren cuts produced by David Foster. Well, I didn't get that, but I stuck with his album anyway and I'm glad I did. Today, I can't get enough of this kid. I've been playing this album morning, noon and night. I LOVE IT.

Pretty darn excited!
I went roller skating wednesday night, and then drove around L.A. looking for billboards promoting Drag Race. It's been 10 years since I last appeared in a national ad campaign and I'm pretty darn excited about it.

Auteur, auteur!
I got advance copies of my new book last week and i couldn't be more happy with it. It's a multi-layed explosion of color, wisdom and hilarity... kinda like a jumbo sized bag of Skittles that's been fortified with vitamins and minerals. I can't wait for you to see it!

The Allergist's Life
In the past year, I've become allergic to peanuts, soybeans, dust, mold and God knows what else. The Claritin-D is working, but it dries out my skin, kills my appetite and keeps me up at night. Living in this human body is such a trip. I guess I should consider myself lucky that I didn't have allergies until now. Most people have suffered with them since childhood.

UPDATE: Favorite Movies '09
Randy convinced me to watch "Away We Go" and I'm glad he did. When it came out, I was initially turned off by the way it was marketed as an ode to the 30-something stroller pushers and their precious cargo, but it turned out that the film is much more than that. Maya Rudolph gives a textured performance that lingers in my heart.
Here is my updated list:
THE BEST: Up Precious District 9 500 Days of Summer Zombieland Whip It This is It September Issue Taking Woodstock Whatever Works Away We Go Crazy Heart I Love You, Man Fantastic Mr. Fox Broken Embraces The Maid
THE OK: Up In The Air It's Complicated Julie & Julia The Hurt Locker The Road 9: The Animation Black Dynamite An Education The Men Who Stare At Goats The Informant Coco Before Chanel The Young Victoria Where The Wild Things Are The Hangover
THE WORST: The Blind Side Funny People Princess & The Frog Brothers Sherlock Holmes Me & Orson Welles Jennifer's Body The Private Lives of Pippa Lee Nine: The Musical Pirate Radio Invictus Transformers 2 The Imaginarium Of Dr. Parnassus The Lovely Bones The Loss Of A Teardrop Diamond
